Scott was a Mason and he was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. He worked in Wichita Falls, Quanah and Waco and he retired after 30 years as Sergeant from Corsicana. He worked over 40 years with the Texas Department of Public Safety. He graduated high school in Temple in 1942. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Texas Department of Public Safely. Pallbearers include David Dycus, Bob Parish, Ray Phillips, James Baird, Charles Knott, Ralph Scoggins, Al Fisher, Keith Sykes, Vernon Cook, Clayton Smith, James Sykes, and Jim Hodge. Ferman Carpenter and Brother Bill Honea will officiate. 30, 2003, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is Monday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m.
